A sound mixing board and light board configuration widget records where specific mixer settings for each channel can be indicated for future reference for that specific band. Once the show mix settings have been finalized, they are uploaded via a GUI to the band and venue profiles for use in future shows. This is done automatically if the technician using MGN mixing software interfaced with the sound board.
For venues with programmable lighting arrays, artists can provide lighting scripts to the venue profile for set lists where necessary. If the venue is using MGN's GUI for MGN's programmable light systems, the light tech for the venue or touring artist can simply download the various scripts and activate them via the GUI.
Audio and video recording gear positioning and input/output feeds are also provided (see Live Recording Services). Should the artist be accompanied by a mobile sound or broadcasting truck, setup location for the vehicle and interfacing connections are indicated here and arranged by liaising with the Show Manager.
Equipment inventory checklists, equipment testing history, manufacturer and vendor contact info on each piece of equipment is kept in the venue profile, along with warranty information, and other bookkeeping information (see Pre-Performance Venue Services). Equipment array details can be accessed by arriving artists to help plan for any DOP needs or contingencies.
