Pre-Venue Performance Services - Fan Clubs

Fan clubs can be created for musicians, bands, venues and festivals. Fan Clubs can be created by these types of members or by public fans. If created by Profile Members (bands/venues), this is accomplished within their Profile Module as part of Promo options, and indicated by Fan Club Module. This same Module is available to public persons at Level 1, Top Tier (see the menu at the top).

The Fan Club Module is based on the common existing social networking services, such as MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, etc., and in fact, can import content from all of those into its own GUI. It also mimics features of MeetUp.com in its ability to call meetings at designated places, and calendaring of fan activities.

Fan Club Module also interfaces with the MGN Store functions, but displays only products/swag relating to the specific musicians, bands and venues. MGN pulls off a small fee for selling these items via its shopping cart. (Swag design functions are covered in Venue Services). Artists are encouraged to autograph freely and offer these items to fans for purchase.

Fan email lists can be created and maintained in this module as a specific function within the public area, but are interfaced as part of the contact database for musicians and venues, and "fans" can be designated as a specific category code or group (a la Outlook/Plaxo/AIM). Designations for "street team" members can also be indicated in both band/venue modules as well as public modules.
