Here is the old school part of the site where bands, musicians and venues can run ads for everything music-related. But, what MGN can do with it, is to use it as a direct social networking tool. For example, Anna posts an ad to find a van to haul band equipment. That ad immediately shows up on all members' sites who are touring musicians, and lo and behold, Freddy's Used Cars in Downtown Detroit just happens to be an MGN sponsor, and has just the deal for her. The MGN search engine parses all classifieds and compares keywords or tags against sponsors' keywords or tags in their profiles.

The Classifieds module is really more of a "wish list" for users, and the MGN internal search engine alerts them when another member has what they are looking for. The Classifieds alone could be a huge incentive for musicians and bands, and venues and vendors to become MGN members.
