Business Learning - Equipment Use & Maintenance

At first glance, this would be where the Roadies get trained, and we may consider a separate partnership or affiliation with existing roadie schools, or develop one (which looks like it may be a good MGN niche based on a cursory web search). (This does need to be an option on the Member Profile, and we might consider this as a Pro Service.)

But, this module is not so much about that, but more about personally operating, managing, and maintenancing sound reinforcement equipment and lighting, along with proper staging and how to "play a room," etc. This would include how to work with sound techs, and what to expect in setting up a live show and the particulars of putting on the show. Scenarios on all levels from coffeehouse to festival stage is explored.

The nuances of such things as getting a "good guitar tone," or the best drum heads to use for jazz, are more subjects for the Pro Live Performance Services Forums. This module is for the beginner, and familiarizes them with the lingo, and various hardware of sound reinforcement, lighting and staging.
